I cried a tear
Lions wiped it dry
I was confused
They cleared my mind
I sold my soul
They bought it back for me
And held me up
Lions gave me dignity
Somehow I needed them

Lions gave me strength
To stand alone again
To face the world
Out on my own again
Lions put me high
Upon a pedestal
So high that I could almost see eternity
I needed them
Really needed them

And I can't believe it's you
I can't believe it's true
I needed you
And you were there
And I'll never cry,
Why should I cry?
I’d be a fool
'Cause I finally found a group who really cares

Lions held my hand
When it was cold
When I was lost
They took me home
They gave me hope
When I was at the end
And fed me food
When I had nothing left
They even called me friend

They gave me strength
To stand alone again
To face the world
Out on my own again
Lions put me high
Upon a pedestal
So high that I could almost see eternity
I needed them
Really need them

I called for them
Lions saved me then
