He was a quiet, private man who spoke with a soft tone and his passing was unexpected and a shock to all of us. He had two children that he loved very much. His son Richard Kevin and his daughter Tracy Lynn. When he spoke of them, one could hear the pride in his voice. Richard enjoyed his personal computer and was very excited about his newest system that he purchased not too long ago. The best part was, when called upon, he was always willing and ready to do what he could to help a friend solve their computer problems. As a Lion, just like his nature, he was there in his own quiet way to help where and when he could. Some of our members never really got to know the real Richard because of his quiet nature. But he was a man who gave generously to families in need and he had a heart of gold. Not many know how much he had given to others because he wasn't one who talked about it. He just did what was needed to help. Richard had been
a big part of the Citrus Heights Lions since 1994.
Our most heart-felt sympathies go out to Richard's family and friends. |
