is with great sadness to announce that on April 1, 2007 Dennis Clark lost
his battle with cancer.
Citrus Heights Lions made it their special mission to help the Clark family by raising funds to cover some of the costs of the high medical bills. Thank you everyone on behalf of the Clark family for your prayers and for coming forward to help make their financial burden just a bit easier to handle. The family appreciates your kindness. |

| Dennis Clark and his
family found themselves in a situation that they thought would never
happen to them. Dennis has cancer and his wife, Dorothy, works hard
to keep up with the medical bills. Their insurance coverage has run
out and now the family is faced with outrageously high medical bills to
pay. Dennis and Dorothy have two sons and while Dennis is battling
his cancer, Dorothy is working two jobs to support her family the best
way she can.
The Citrus Heights Lions held a fundraiser dinner for the Clark family on December 2nd and raised over $8,000.00. Since the dinner we have received more donations and now the total is up to over $10,000. Although the family is very grateful, it’s not enough. Won’t you please help this Citrus Heights family? This could happen to anyone of us! It is a very sad day when people from our own neighborhood, who had worked so hard in life for what they have, now are faced with losing it all.
